We offer a range of locations. For a drop in class we can meet at the North Hollywood Farmers Market on Saturdays (we have demo classes—check our In Person Class tab).

If you are interested in a homeschool pod, then we will need to arrange a home visit or a park date. Please email sourdoughstclair@gmail.com to accommodate your group.

Getting started is simple. Purchase tickets for a class on the “In Person Class” tab. If you have a homeschool group or would like to use charter funds please email sourdoughstclair@gmail.com for additional steps.

You don’t need anything to get started. We will break down even the basics and build from there. You will get a PDF with some key words and pictures of kitchen utensils when you sign up for the class that will help you prepare for the lesson.

We will have everything that you need for the lesson. We will have clip boards for drawing, crayons, little tables for the little ones, and all the food supplies.

If you’d like you can bring your own apron and gloves.

We teach people at every stage of sourdough knowledge. When you think about sourdough you may have a vision but there might be gap that can only be solved by going back to the basics.

You will walk away feeling confident knowing how to use sourdough in your everyday routine. You will also feel calmer knowing that you have experienced a tailored lesson for you.

For the childrens groups we combine a thoughtful, child-centered approach with a Montessori vision to empower the littles with confidence in the kitchen.

I believe that good food is an invitation to gather and build community. I know that you can become confident in yourself by building up your skills and improving your understanding of the tools in your kitchen. Whether you are a busy mom or a connoisseur of all things food you belong here.

We have different classes for different ages.

Our 18month-3years old class is a Mom and Me class. You will be the sole person responsible for your little one. If your little can take direct instruction and maintain a safe space away from other babies then they might be ready for this class.

Disruptions or damages caused will be assumed by patrons.
